Lotusland Trip

Our society and the Monterey Bay Cactus and Succulent Society are sponsoring a tour to Lotusland on May 11-12.

Lotusland is a 37 acre group of gardens containing tropical and subtropical plants from around the world. Their latest garden features cactus.

Because the gardens are in Santa Barbara and our tour is scheduled for 10 AM, we will be leaving quite early on Saturday (5:30 AM). The bus will leave from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 1960 Freedom Blvd., Freedom, California. This is where the Monterey Society has their monthly meetings, and there is a large parking lot for your vehicle. In addition to the Lotusland tour, we will be visiting 3-4 nurseries in the immediate area and on our way home.

Our society will pay for the bus, Lotusland entrance fee, and some refreshments, for society members. There will be a $50 charge for guests. You will be responsible for any meals and motel costs ($74 single, $77 double plus taxes).
