Ted Kipping - Isles West of Baja

Ted Kipping continues the series of presentations based on his travels in and around the Gulf of Baja California.

Along the West Coast of Baja California are a few islands cut off from the Mainland since the end of the last Ice Age. This isolation has led to some intriguing speciation and endemism. The isles are botanically interesting and picturesque. Join us for another engaging adventure.

An avid plant and wildlife enthusiast and a Certified Arborist, Ted Kipping studied Natural History at Columbia University, New York and worked at Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park before starting his own "Tree Shaper" business. He is constantly expanding his knowledge of rare plants and ecosystems by exploring unique locales with his camera.
