Brian Kemble - Gasterias From their natural habitat in South Africa to their wide distribution in collections both public and private, Gasterias are a popular and attractive succulent. The presentation will cover Gasterias from the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in South Africa to the collection in the Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, CA where Mr. Kemble is the curator. Brian Kemble has contributed photographs to numerous books on succulents and has written articles for the Cactus & Succulent Journal as well as other periodicals. He has been growing succulent plants since the 1970's.
