Gasterias and Echeverias In Cultivation

Stephen McCabe, Emeritus Director of Research for the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum, will talk about growing and hybridizing Gasterias and Echeverias in our area. There should be plenty for the novice and more experienced growers to enjoy. The late Bob Grim, who hybridized Echeverias and was a long time San Jose Club member, and the late Margaret Grim will be mentioned prominently. There will be a few Gasteria shots from habitat, but the emphasis won't be on memorizing scientific names for cryptically different species.

He will bring plants to sell.
