Field Trip to The Deutsch Cactus Garden

Located at The Discovery Center in Fresno, The Deutsch Cactus Garden is home to over 250 species of cacti and succulents. For more information, check out their web site at https://www.fresnodiscoverycenter.org/the-deutsch-cactus-garden.

They are open from 10-4; we aim to arrive at 12:30.

There is a whimsical little demonstration garden maintained by the master gardeners down the street, but it isn't usually open on Sundays. We're still waiting to hear whether they will make an exception for us and give us a tour.

We are still in the process of picking a nursery along the way as a stop point — possibilities include Gazebo Gardens, the Belmont Nursery, and the Evergreen Garden Center.

The club will be paying entrance fees. There will be no bus, but we encourage carpooling.
