Berkeley Botanical Garden Field Trip or
CSSSJ Fall Show & Sale Volunteering

Our Sunday August 4th meeting will be a tour of the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens led by Bryan Gim. He is their Arid House, Cycad & Palm Garden specialist and has designed a succulent-specific tour of the gardens for us.

The tour starts at 1:00pm and lasts about an hour. (Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier. Tours start promptly.) After the tour, members have until 5:00pm to check out the garden.

Parking is limited. So, carpool, if you can. There is a $1.00/hour charge for parking. It is recommended to purchase at least two hours. If you are interested in carpooling, contact Monica Moran at gardenermon@gmail.com.

For those not attending the field trip to Berkeley Botanical Garden, we will be gathering at Prusch Park to discuss volunteer opportunities at the upcoming CSSSJ Fall show and sale. We are implementing a few changes that we hope will make the experience better for our visitors. If you would like to learn more about how you can help out, or learn more about our club please join us.
