Flowering Cacti, Mesembs, Euphorbias, and Bulbs and the Never Ending Struggle for More Space Peter Beiersdorfer will give a tour of his succulent plant collection and show many plants in bloom. As plants grow, new ones are added and even more are propagated from seed or cuttings, and space becomes an issue. The result is that Peter has, over the years, converted more and more yard to growing space for plants. Most recently, Peter converted the sunniest section of the yard to a Lithops growing area, and he will illustrate the construction of the new plant shelter in his talk. Peter joined CSSSJ about 20 years ago and has been active in the Club in various ways, mostly coordinating the Club's sales and vendors.
