Evolution of a Dry Garden
(lessons from a trial and error gardener)

After moving back into her family home in 2006, Kathi made it a priority to get rid of the lawn and replace it with a drought tolerant alternative. Her Southwest style courtyard garden was designed by California Nativescapes. It is composed of cacti, succulents, and native plants as well as a wealth of recycled and found materials. She began with the front yard in the Fall of 2007, followed by the backyard in 2011/12. She will go over the process that she went through, tools, plants, and changes to the garden.

She will also have materials available regarding the Valley Water Landscape Rebate Program at the meeting.

COVID precautions: Masks are encouraged, but optional for our meetings.
