Watercolor Workshop with Andrea Chebeleu

Join us at the March 3 meeting for a watercolor workshop! Artist Andrea Chebeleu will guide us in creating beautiful hand painted cards using a variety of watercolor layering and background techniques. We have space for 36 people to join - please RSVP to programs@csssj.org to reserve your spot! Members can RSVP now; non-members can RSVP after 2/28.

We welcome observers to the meeting to watch the process, and we will still have our monthly mini show at the meeting for our members.

Andrea is the artist and entrepreneur behind A Work of Heart at 176 Race Street. She spends her time between the art retreat property in Oregon just south of Portland and her art studio here in San Jose teaching workshops in both places. The San Jose shop has a wide variety of high quality art supplies including the Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors we are using in this workshop.

We will be in need of a few succulent “models.” If you have a plant that you think might be good to paint, please email a photo to programs@csssj.org for consideration.

COVID precautions: Masks are encouraged, but optional for our meetings.
