Dudleya of the Channel Islands and the naming of a new species of mainland Liveforever

Because the focus of our Spring Show changed from a judged show to a People’s Choice, we are reserving the "Judge’s Point of View" presentation for a time when that will be more relevant. We are very grateful to Stephen McCabe for graciously stepping in to be our speaker this month.

Stephen McCabe, a Fellow of the San Jose Cactus and Succulent Society and Emeritus Director of Research for the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum and Botanic Garden will give his first talk since the publication of an article on the Dudleya of the Channel Islands and another publication naming a new species of Dudleya from Orange County, California. He has collaborated with members of the California Native Plant Society and with staff of the Channel Islands National Park on research on the plants.
