Mimicking Habitat in Plant Staging

Joseph Hidalgo will present at our August club meeting on the topic of staging plants to recreate the natural conditions the plant is from in habitat. Joseph often creates a piece of pottery to fit a specific plant. He uses a wide variety of top dressing and rocks to create a miniature landscape experience for his show plants. Joseph is a long time potter in San Jose who has created many of our club member's beloved pots through the years.

In conjunction with the presentation, the Mini Show will be centered on your favorite combination of succulent plant and its container (staging).
